QA Lead (Automation)
We are looking for a hands-on QA Lead to take end-to-end ownership of product quality, with a strong focus on test automation. You will build automation frameworks, improve testing processes, and work with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable, scalable software.
Key responsibilities 9
- Own QA activities across products, features, and releases.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks, preferably using Playwright.
- Define QA processes, testing standards, and best practices.
- Plan and execute manual, automated, functional, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to identify issues early in the development lifecycle.
- Improve test coverage and identify gaps in existing testing processes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Track release quality metrics, analyze defects, and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor QA engineers and help build a scalable quality engineering function.
Requirements 8
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with strong expertise in test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong understanding of web application testing, API testing, and regression testing.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take ownership of testing strategy and release quality.

- Experience working with SaaS products.
- Exposure to performance and security testing.
- Basic understanding of backend systems, databases, and application architecture.
- Experience mentoring QA engineers or leading QA initiatives.
