Call Detection on iOS

Due to Apple’s strict system restrictions, call recording is not supported on iOS devices. However, Leadrat still offers call detection features, with the following limitations:

  • Only outgoing calls can be tracked on iPhones.
  • Incoming call tracking is not supported.

iOS Call Detection Setup

There is no additional app needed for iOS users. The call detection works directly within the Leadrat mobile app.

  • The user must initiate calls from within the Leadrat application.
  • This is essential to allow the system to detect and log the call.
Important Note for iOS Users:
If the Leadrat app is placed in the background during a call, and the call ends while the app is still in the background:
  • The user must reopen the Leadrat app immediately after the call ends.
  • If the app is reopened after a delay, the extra waiting time will be added to the recorded call duration.

This behavior is due to iOS background processing limitations and cannot be bypassed.
